Preston is an honest man and this was also seen in his game.
When the contestants were given free time, instead of joining the others, Preston visited the local cemetery on his own to spend his time with the dead. He repeatedly tried to communicate with the dead in Roaring Heights and Oasis Spring with little luck. The only contestant who believed him was George Goog. He thought that the other contestants would believe him if he talked about his abilities since they could travel across time, but many of them derided or judged him. He eventually befriended the deceased stranger and learned more about the history of his hometown.Īlthough his time was brief, Preston's sheepishness and loner traits could be observed. However, as he was lonely and feeling like an outcast at work, Preston began frequenting the graveyard. Initially, he wanted to try and persuade this stranger to go to the netherworld in peace and give up the graveyard to the government. However, everyone who he has told has so far not believed him, causing him to be less open about his supernatural ability. In particular, he could communicate with a spirit named Mr. One day, while alone at the graveyard, he discovered that he could talk to the dead, even before they assumed their ghastly form. Recently, Preston was part of an urban redevelopment project which involved exhuming a former graveyard. However, he takes each and every letter seriously although his superiors eventually disregard the letters. However, he is primarily relegated to a paper-pusher in his job, such as reviewing letters from the public. Preston is a young civil servant who hopes to be able to make a difference to society.
